Thousands of people gathered in Haji Sir Muda Omar Ali Sefaudiah Park yesterday morning to take part in the Guard of Honor Parade in honor of His Majesty's 61st birthday.
His Majesty's arrival in the garden was marked by the beating of "Hadrah." Upon arrival, His Excellency was greeted by YM PG Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah PG Anak HJ Abdul Aziz, Commander of the Royal Armed Forces of Brunei, Pehin Datu Lailaraja, Major General Datu Paduka HJ Series. When the king stopped on Royal Day, the national anthem was played and 21 balls were thrown to mark the beginning of the great celebration of His Majesty's 61st birthday.
